Lemon-Garlic-Herb Butter
This butter works well with fish, chicken, pork, and beef.
Ingredients
Procedure
For 8 people
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
½ cup finely chopped herbs (such as dill, basil, or parsley)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon lemon zest
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
  1. In a mixing bowl, add butter and allow it t become softened.

  2. Use a fork to blend in the seasonings and herbs.

  3. Remove the butter onto a piece of waxed paper and roll into a cylinder.

  4. Refrigerate of freeze cylinder-shaped butter.

  5. Cut off pats, as you need them.

            

Note: It is best to use compound butter on freshly grilled hot items.
